CNC Ground & Turned Precision Arbors |
To produce precision arbors for our clients in the manufacturing industry, we mainly work with A2 tool steel and use a combination of CNC turning and grinding. We hold tolerances down to +/- .0001 of an inch to ensure exact specifications are met, and offer varied diameters depending on the size needed. These precision arbors feature a Browne and Sharpe taper on one end, a customer-specified diameter on the other end, and measure 7 inches in length. Each arbor weighs less than 2 pounds. We can achieve a 16 to 32 micro-inch finish, and apply heat treating, hard turning, and grinding as secondary operations. To ensure superior parts, we check each part for run out and polish it. We're happy to accommodate 1 to 10 piece orders, or more if needed and offer a 1 to 4 week turnaround time. For more information about our precision arbors, please contact Bean Tool & Die, Inc. |
