Redesign of Stainless Steel Rope Release

In the rodeo and roping industry, a well-designed release mechanism can mean a world of difference. Bean Tool & Die, Inc. redesigned this release mechanism, used in cattle roping, to make roping a little bit easier: made of 303 stainless steel, this release is strong, durable, and reliable. With sawing and milling as our primary cutting methods, we make fixtures, and drill and bend the material to meet specific design requirements. Secondary operations include fitting, assembly, TIG welding, and testing to ensure a sound component. We hold tolerances down to +/- .005 of an inch to guarantee precision and quality.
With a material thickness of 3/16 of an inch, each rope release measures 1.625 inches long, 1 inch in overall width, and 4.25 inches in overall height. Bending results in a 90 degree bend, a 145.8 degree bend, a 45 degree bend, and a 1.875 radial bend. Our rope releases feature a polished stainless finish.
